Greetings and happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
The Vicksburg District Library is back open and on its regular schedule today after an unexpected closure yesterday due to the weather. We hope everyone was warm and safe through the day and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. But better safe than sorry when it comes to unpredictable weather. Now let’s see what’s going on at the library this week!
This Week
Youth Librarian Stephanie invites all the little ones and their families to join us on Wednesday morning, January 22nd at 10:30am for Mugs & Hugs! While the kids play, moms, dads, grandparents, and guardians get to sip on hot tea and coffee. Please note that a guardian must be present for attending children at all times.
Wednesday night we are going out to the ball game! Movie Night for All presents A League of Their Own, the 1992 classic from director Penny Marshall, starring Geena Davis and Tom Hanks! The fun starts at 6:00pm on January 22nd. Admission is free and popcorn will be served for all those who wish to join us. Hope to see you there!
